Getting started
What you see after you sign up, how to add the first task, and when invite appears.
After you create an account you land on Today. That list is the product. A small project called Meet Done Bear is already on it. Those tasks are real — complete them, change them, or delete the project whenever you like.
Adding a task
Add a task with New task in the footer. A new task goes to Today unless you send it somewhere else.
An empty Today is just the icon. There is nothing else to click; the footer is how you start.
If you are emptying your head rather than planning the day, send the task to the Inbox and decide later.
Attachments
Open a task on the web to attach files or images to it — a receipt, a screenshot, a reference document. They stay with the task and sync to your other devices, though attaching one is currently a web-app action; you'll see attachments already on a task from the iOS app and the CLI, but adding one there is coming later.
Dark mode
Done Bear follows your device's light or dark setting on its own, so there is nothing to turn on. To pin it one way instead, open Settings, then Preferences, and set Appearance to Light or Dark.
Appearance is saved per device. A dark desktop app and a light phone are fine.
Making things bigger
In the desktop app, press Ctrl and + or - (Cmd on a Mac) to zoom, and Ctrl/Cmd 0 to go back to the usual size. That choice is saved on that computer and comes back after you close the app.
In a browser tab the browser's own zoom still uses those keys.
On iPhone, Done Bear follows the text size you set in iOS, including the larger accessibility sizes. Change it under Settings, Display & Brightness, Text Size. To make only Done Bear bigger, add Text Size to Control Center, open it while Done Bear is on screen, and choose Done Bear Only.
Invite
Invite appears when you create a team workspace. You can skip it and share later.
