What's new

The list that follows you.

September 2026

Capture from anywhere. One list on web, Windows, Linux, Mac, and iPhone.

Start free

Phone

The iOS app is on the App Store. iPhone only, iOS 26.2 or later, free. Tasks live on the phone and sync when you reconnect.

Tab

Click the toolbar icon to send the tab, or a selection, into Today. Free on the Chrome Web Store.

Desk

Desktop apps for macOS, Windows, and Linux, with updates in the background.

Projects

A new project is yours alone until you add a team. Your projects in the sidebar lists the ones you created or joined, on the web and on iOS. Upcoming, Anytime, and Someday now show their counts in the sidebar, the way Today always has. Filtering by a label puts it in the address bar, so the filtered list can be shared or bookmarked. Light, dark, or system under Settings, then Preferences, then Appearance. Saved per device.

Founding

The founding offer is open until 30 September 2026, 23:59 AEST. It is applied when you create your first workspace, not when you click sign up. Terms.

Repeats

A task can repeat the way it does in Things. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or after you complete it. The rule lives on the task, on the web and on iPhone. Open any one-off and turn Repeats on. Completing this occurrence makes the next.

Improvements

  • MCPChatGPT, Grok, and Cursor can connect to the hosted MCP server with first-party plugins. Same list as Claude and the rest.
  • WebA signed-out link into the app now opens sign-in, instead of a page that goes nowhere.
  • iOSYour projects includes private projects you created or joined.
  • iOSThe project page is closer to the web: the same layout and the same actions.

Fixes

  • MobileTapping Repeats on no longer closes the open task.

Your projects

A new project is yours alone until you add a team. Your projects in the sidebar lists the ones you created or joined, on the web and on iOS. Join a team project to put it in your list; leave it to take it out. Everyone in the workspace still sees everything. Drag projects into whatever order you like on the Projects page.

Improvements

  • ViewsUpcoming, Anytime, and Someday now show their counts in the sidebar, the way Today always has.
  • LabelsFiltering by a label puts it in the address bar, so the filtered list can be shared or bookmarked. Picking a label in quick find lands on the filtered list instead of losing the label on the way.
  • AppearanceLight, dark, or system under Settings, then Preferences, then Appearance. Saved per device, so a dark laptop and a light phone are both fine. System is still the default and still follows your OS.
  • DatesThe button that cleared a date is named Anytime, after where the task goes. It sits under the calendar, above Someday.

Chrome extension

The page you're on can be a task. Click the toolbar icon to send the tab, or a selection, into Today. It's free on the Chrome Web Store.

AI agent

Ask from the dashboard. It uses the hosted MCP server, so it changes the same list as everything else.
