Add Done Bear to Claude Code
Run one `claude mcp add` command and sign in with OAuth. Claude Code can then capture and complete Done Bear tasks in your terminal.

Add the server with one command
Run `claude mcp add --transport http donebear https://mcp.donebear.com/mcp`. Add `--scope user` for every project.

Verify with /mcp and sign in
Reopen Claude Code to load the config, then run `/mcp`. The first task request opens an OAuth sign-in.

- `--transport http` is required; without it, Claude Code assumes a stdio command and fails.

Sign in through your browser. Revoke it in Done Bear or by removing the Claude Code connector.
Read-only and write scopes
Read-only access cannot create, edit, or complete tasks.
Scoped to your workspace
The connector reaches Done Bear data, not other files on your machine.

Run `/mcp`. If Done Bear is missing, rerun the add command and restart the session.
Where does Claude Code save the server, and what are scopes?
The current project by default. `--scope user` covers every project; `--scope project` writes a shared `.mcp.json`.
