## Twelve pages served the app shell instead of their content

Impact: Twelve live marketing and docs pages, all linked and in the sitemap, showed the web app shell instead of their content. Sign-in, sync, and the app were unaffected.

- Cause: a Cloudflare Worker sends only allowlisted paths to the marketing site, and twelve pages had been left off the list, some for weeks.
- Fix: the pages were restored the same day, and the allowlist is now generated from the filesystem, so a new page cannot be missed.
- We do not know how long each page was affected. Every request returned HTTP 200, so nothing noticed. Keyword monitors now check each page for its own text.
