## Pricing questions

### What counts as an active task?

Every task not in the Trash, including completed tasks in your Logbook. Archiving moves a task to the Trash and out of the count. Free allows 250 active tasks. Basic, Business, and Enterprise have no limit.

### What happens when I reach 250 tasks?

New tasks stop, and Done Bear says so. Nothing is deleted or locked: existing tasks stay readable, editable, and syncing. Archive finished work to free slots, or move to Basic for unlimited tasks at $7 per member a month billed yearly.

### Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from the billing portal in workspace settings. No fee, no minimum term. The plan runs to the end of the paid period, then drops to Free. Nothing is deleted: a workspace over 250 tasks keeps them all and stops accepting new ones.

### Do you store my card details?

No. Stripe runs checkout and billing, so your card number never reaches a Done Bear server. We keep the Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your plan status. Manage cards in the billing portal.

### Is billing per member or per workspace?

Per member, per month. Everyone in a paid workspace counts, so on your own you pay for one. Free includes unlimited members. Basic is $7 a month billed yearly or $8 monthly; Business is $12 or $14.

### Do AI agents take a seat?

No. An agent signs in as a member who already exists, over MCP OAuth or an API key, so it adds nothing to the bill on any plan. Free includes full agent access over MCP, the CLI, and the API.

### What is the founding offer?

It has closed and does not run again. Accounts created before 30 September 2026 keep Basic free permanently on their first workspace: unlimited tasks, room for up to two more people, and up to 5 teams. New accounts start on Free: 250 tasks, no card.

### Do I need a work email to sign up?

No. Any email works to sign up or start Free. Domain auto-join is an optional setting that lets colleagues on your email domain join automatically. It never gates signup.

### What does Enterprise add?

The Business product plus procurement help: annual invoicing instead of card payment, support through security and legal review, custom onboarding and migration planning, a dedicated success contact, and priority incident response. Contact sales to scope it.
