*Last updated: 2026-09-16*

> Turn on Developer Mode in ChatGPT on the web, add a custom app with the server URL, and sign in with OAuth. With Done Bear at mcp.donebear.com/mcp, ChatGPT can read and add tasks on your list.

**Endpoint:** `https://mcp.donebear.com/mcp`

**Requirements:** Business or Enterprise/Edu for write actions; Pro for read and fetch only. ChatGPT web is required.

## Add a custom MCP server

1. **Turn on Developer Mode.** In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer Mode. On Business and Enterprise/Edu, an admin controls access.
2. **Add the MCP server URL.** Add a custom app and paste https://mcp.donebear.com/mcp, or any Streamable HTTP MCP server URL.
3. **Authorize with OAuth.** Approve the browser sign-in. You can revoke Done Bear’s OAuth scopes later.
4. **Use it on a real list.** Enable the connector from the tools menu, then ask ChatGPT to list today’s tasks or add one.

Business and Enterprise/Edu get full actions, including writes; Pro gets read and fetch only. Free and Plus cannot add custom MCP servers.
